He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Reinert and Elvida Reinert; and his brother Larry Reinert. He is survived by: his children, David Reinert (Vanessa Roels) and Lauren Reinert; his grandchild Iselin Reinert; his siblings, Danny Reinert (Donna), Kathy McMillan (Carson Brignac), Peggy Kristo (Jim), Elizabeth "Betty" Lavy (Douglas) and Kelly Reinert; and his daughter Melanie Hasen (Vince).
