He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Marguerite; and his sister Judy Miller (Ray). He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Hollis; and his children, Sue Ebert (Dan), Steve (Vikki), Ron (Kim), Keith, Laura Tischner (Greg) and Brian (Amy). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
