He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaseus Buryn and Elizabeth Buryn (Sutton); his brother Norman; and his son Eric. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his son Kevin; his stepgrandchildren, Dalton and Tori; his siblings, Julia Todd (Christopher), Leanne Barnhart (Glenn) and Matthew Buryn; and his daughter-in-law Karen Gahafer-Buryn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
