He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Lawrence Cory; his parents, Orval Smith and Vye Smith (Pierce); his mother-in-law Helen Cory; his siblings, Phyllis Ferguson, Doris Ann "Annie" Dillard, Virginia Young, Loren and Frank Smith; his brothers-in-law, John Ferguson, Leon Dillard, Paul Young and Jerry Daniels; his son-in-law Stacy Daniels; his stepgranddaughter Autumn Sparks Early; and his grandchild Stacy William Marilyn Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Chrisann Smith (Cory); his children, Jeffrey Smith (Julie) of Kirksville and Jennifer Chrisman (Mark) of Green Castle; his sister-in-law Nancy Daniels; and his grandchildren, Cory Smith (Kimmie), Chris Smith (Carlye), Samantha Dolan (Nate), Tristan Daniels (Rachael), Alecia Strickland, Katy Foster, Amity Marcial and Asa Sparks. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and ten bonus great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Larry may be made to Novinger Cemetery.
