He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Taylor and Cecil Taylor; his wife Ruth Reed; his siblings, Cecil Jr., Charlie, John, Roger, Sherry, Mary, Rita and Richard; his children, Jackie Rollins, Gene and Scott Day; and his grandchildren, Christy, Brandy Rollins, Brandon and Nathaniel Day.
He is survived by: his siblings, Anna, Tom, Phyllis, Geraldine, Darrell and David; and his nieces and nephews, Brenda Myers (Raymond) and Ronni Day (Rebecca). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
