He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcelino Núñez Palomino and Saragoza Huamán Ludeña. He is survived by: his wife Genoveva; and his children, Celia Brower, Luzmila Ortíz (Richard), Estela Cruz, Rómulo Núñez (Ada), Alfredo Núñez (Claudia), Elías Núñez (Marlene), Joel Núñez (Armida) and Miguel Núñez (Thelma Perla). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
