He was predeceased by: his parents, Chang Jing Xing and Lam Jit Sit; his wife Deborah Kesuma (Kwee Tjoei Tho); and his siblings, Chang Ping Fa, Chang Piang Su, Chang Ping Xiong, Chang Su Hsien and Chang Su Mei.
He is survived by: his children, Isabela Chandra (Jemmy Lesmana) of Lawrence, Kansas, Isadora Horning (Matthew Horning) of Riverside, Missouri and Harris Chandra (Fransisca Wijaya) of Norman, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Rosemary Lesmana, Raymond Lesmana, Ian Chandra and Reagan Horning.
