He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George, Patricia Salsig, Richard and Sharon Backhus. He is survived by: his daughter Rylynne Backhus; his parents, Pamela Tapp (Scott Smith) and Troy Backhus (Shannon Backhus); his fiancée Danielle Mackey; his siblings, Mendi Backhus (Tyler Beck), Haley Backhus (Antonio Perez), Hannah Backhus-Greenberg (Harrison Greenberg), Dakota Williams, Taylor Tapp and Caleb Alberts (Shawna Valentine); his niece Joslynne Mendoza; and his nephew Roman Beck. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
