She was predeceased by: her parents, John Norman and Everlyn Merritt-Jones. She is survived by: her husband Donald Parson of Kansas City, Missouri; her children, Linda (Roy) of Savanah, Georgia, Mark (Rene) of Orlando, Florida, Patrice (Gerald) of Belton, Missouri, Kerry (Heather) of Kansas City, Missouri and Donald Jr. (Audery) of Grandview, Missouri; her stepdaughter Brenda (James) of Kansas City, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Shalesha, Sarah, Donielle, Olivia, Donald III, Julian, Sydney, Andrew and Hannah. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
