He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Maxine West Reed and William Edward Reed; his son Christopher Reed; his wife Gloria Reed; and his son Benjamin Reed.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Reed McClellan; his son-in-law Patrick McClellan; and his grandchildren, Jessie McClellan, Ailie McClellan, Moyra Reed, Abigail Reed, Rachel Reed, Isaiah Reed, Daniel Reed, Sister Bennette Reed Dibben and Brother John Reed. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
