Brian Scott Carpenter Obituary
We regret to announce the passing of Brian Scott Carpenter, aged 51, who passed away on June 10th, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Brian served as a Maintenance Supervisor over the last 13 years for the fresh water division of the Kansas City Water Department. Previous to that, he retired from ITS Technologies servicing the Norfolk Southern Railway. As an Army Veteran, Brian held the plight of fellow Veterans close to his heart.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brian was a devoted family man, who loved his Wife and Children above all else.
In his free time, Brian enjoyed taking his oldest son Tyler to the shooting range as well as attending Royals and Chiefs games which brought him joy and relaxation.
Brian Scott Carpenter is survived by his mother, Mavis Czarny of Independence, Missouri; his father, Edward Vigil of Denver, Colorado; as well as his wife of 20 years, Heather Carpenter, and their three children, Tyler Carpenter, of Liberty, Missouri, Jaidann and Devin of the home, and two stepchildren, Cain Sandridge of Independence, Missouri and Chase Sandridge of the home. Brian leaves behind numerous colleagues and devoted friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Brian will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and colleagues.
