It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Ralph Buschling (Kahoka, Missouri), born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Ralph Buschling and Rose Marie Toops Buschling of Wayland; his wife Pamela Buschling (Isely) of Allison Park, PA; his son Brandon Buschling (Sam); his grandchild Laurie of Murfreesboro, TN; his daughter Erin Bushouse (John) of Columbus, IN; his grandchildren, Katharine and Collin Brunette; and his siblings, Debra Alexander (Dennis) of Broomfield, CO and Randy Buschling (Tami) of Ladue, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, special relatives, and friends.
His family and the remarkable staff at the Falk Clinic at UPMC Hospital, notably Dr. Silpa Kilaru, got him put on the transplant list, and in January of 2014 he was gifted a second chance at life by the generous donation of new lungs in a successful bi-lateral lung transplant.
