She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Stewart and Leila Stewart; and her husband John Francis Hays. She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Van Ness (Jon) of Columbia, MO, Lisa Hays Justus (Billy) of Lenexa, KS and Amy Specht (Alex) of McPherson, KS; her great grandchildren, Braeden and Bayler Imhoff; her grandchildren, Natalie Imhoff (Ryan) of Celina, TX, Justin Windett of Renton, WA and Tyler Timson of McPherson, KS; and her siblings, Elaine Plank of Huntsville, AL, Jack Stewart (Edith) of Hillsboro, MO, Jewel Scott of Raytown, MO, Wanda and Neva. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Raytown Christian Church (designated for the Stephen Ministry program) or the Salvation Army.
