With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy L. Desvaux (Kahoka, Missouri), born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on February 12, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Spurgeon and Viola Marks Spurgeon; her husband William V. Desvaux; and her siblings, Betty VanWinkle, Calvin, George, Cecil and Elmer J. Spurgeon.
She is survived by: her son Danny Desvaux (Charlotte) of Canton, MO; her grandchildren, Sabina Davis (Keith) of Kahoka and Jason Desvaux of Quincy, IL; her stepgrandchildren, Kelly Wilson of Williamson, Zach Dopheide of Sacramento, CA, Clint Dopheide of Williamstown, MO and Jason Dopheide (Amy) of Williamstown, MO; and her brothers, Carl "Bruiser" Spurgeon (Shirley) of Canton and Bill D. Spurgeon (Uhla) of Chanute, KS. She is also survived by seventeen great grand-children; fourteen great-great grandchildren.
