She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Kern and Therese Kern (Wilhelm); her husband Jack Moritz; her grandson Joshua Moritz; her son-in-law Daryl Glascock; and her siblings, Anton Kern, Johann Kern, Hildegard Pongratz and Josef Kern.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Glascock of Jefferson City, MO and James "Jim" Moritz (Cathy) of Prospect Heights, IL; her sister Maria Kern of Germany; her grandchildren, Angela Bulawski (Roman), Bianca Ingwersen (Ryan), Melanie Highland (Charles), Lindsay Gorton (Daniel), Libbey Moritz and Zoe Moritz; and her great grandchildren, Marcus, Simon Bulawski, Andrew, Cecily Highland, Benjamin, David, Matthew Gorton, Charlotte, Riley Moritz, Linnea and Lincoln Ingwersen. She is also survived by her family and friends.
