She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Max" Pennington and Millicent Pennington (Shriner); her husband Neil; and her brother-in-law Jim Brown. She is survived by: her children, Cyndi Hoeller (Henry) of Westphalia, Gregg Coffin (Claudia) of Columbia and Melissa Backues (Stacey) of Jefferson City; her siblings, Richard "Dick" Pennington (Sally) of Lincoln and Barbara Brown of Lincoln; and her grandchildren, Amanda Kesel (Josh), David Hoeller (Beth), Elizabeth Holtmeyer (Randy), Sarah Hoeller (Chuck Swartz), Nicole Coffin (K. C. Hicks), Ryan Coffin (Janel), Haylee Backues and Kelsie Backues. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
