He is survived by: his mother Betty Ann Backes (Kirchner); his siblings, Deborah Flessa, Anthony Backes (Lori) and Shannon Denney (Michael); and his nieces and nephews, Whitney Cabaza, Amy Backes, Wendy (Backes), Johnson (Jared), Shane Backes and Jordan Cabaza (Nichole).
