He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Vick" Shea and June Eileen Shea (LaBonte); and his aunt Ann Hennessey (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Lynne Shea; his children, Nicholas "Nic" Shea of Chapel Hill, Logan Shea of Ashland and Kaitlyn Shea of Jefferson City; his siblings, Mary King (Bob) of Overland Park, Kathy Shea of Overland Park and Jim Shea (Barbara) of Fort Worth; and his siblings-in-law, Stan, Jan Letkowski of Kansas City, Leslie Porth (John) of Durham and Brett Letkowski (Karen) of Wichita. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic School or Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research by mailing all donations to PO Box 95, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102.
