She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lattimore and Dixie Lee Compere (Russell); her siblings, Jan Rhodes and William Compere; and her sister-in-law Judith McDonald Compere.
She is survived by: her children, John Sjoblom (Tracy Smedley) of Kansas City and Barbara Long (Brian) of Erie; her granddaughter Audrey Long Schroer (Hunter) of Iowa City, IA; and her great grandchildren, Wendell and Vera Schroer. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
