He was predeceased by: his parents, David Shikles and Anna Shikles (Jones); his brothers, Bob (Liahla Shikles) and Curt Shikles; and his nephew Anthony Gilpin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hutinger; his daughters, Jennifer Shikles-Jackson (Terry) and Amy Shikles-Grim (Eraster Smith); his pet CJ of Jefferson City; his sister Darlene Hunt (Darrel) of Willard; and his sister-in-law Cindy Shikles of Joplin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
