She is survived by: her husband Donald Leroy Schaefer; her children, Donald Schaefer Jr. (Pam Walther), Doug Schaefer (Barb Kemple), Donna Mehrhoff and Darryl Schaefer; her grandchildren, Brent Schaefer (Alicia Wise), Annie Schaefer (Bobby Kloeppel), Lisa Dittmer (Curt), Wayne Schaefer Brittney (Amy) and Katrina Howard (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Dylan Wise, Addison Schaefer, Kaidence, Lucas, Jacob Dittmer and Avery Schaefer; and her brothers, Gary and Lloyd Romig.
