He was predeceased by: his sisters, Carol Sue Thomas and Mary Steinmetz; and his brother-in-law Tommy Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Judith Steinmetz of Jefferson City; his daughters, Robin Jones (Dwight) of Jefferson City and Crystal Pannier of Cary, Illinois; his grandchildren, Justin Dampf of Springfield, Jordin Jones, Jaime Jones and Jared Jones of Jefferson City; his great grandchildren, Ryder Dampf and Savannah Dampf of Springfield, Missouri; his sisters, Barbara Ashurst (Bob) of Republic and Joyce Schmidt of Kansas City, Missouri; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Thomas of Taos, Mark Cron (Marilyn) and Fred Cron (Sheila). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to Tunnel for Towers, The Central Missouri Honor Flight, Central Missouri Hospice, or and Veteran Associations of your choice.
