He is survived by: his wife Sieglinde Simak; his son Gary York; his sisters, Loretta Khan and Katherine Dowden; his grandchild Madison Salerno (Justin); his great grandchild Theo Salerno; and his sister-in-law Linda York. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
