He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Oesterly and Lorene Oesterly (Baker); his brothers, Paul, Ronald and Gary; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Oesterly.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Marie Glass; his children, Kevin W. Oesterly of Tebbetts and Laura A. Lamberta (Charles) of Columbia Mo; his grandchildren, Sarah Oesterly of Springfield, Alexander Oesterly of Jefferson City and Annabelle Lamberta of Columbia; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Oesterly and Mary Oesterly of California.
