He is survived by: his wife Donna Ryan of Jackson, Missouri; his children, Dr. Janice Martin (Tim) of Overland Park, Kansas and Brad Ryan (Rita Jane) of Castle Rock, Colorado; his grandchildren, Rachel Ryan of Seattle, Tanner Ryan of Denver, Melissa Harrington (Scott) of Midway, Michelle Martin of Lisbon, Portugal, Nicholas Ryan (Christy) of Webster Groves, Natalie Young (Will) of Oxford and Eli Ryan (Rachel) of Jackson, Mississippi; and his great grandchildren, Harlow Ryan of Webster Groves, Grant Ryan of Webster Groves, Spencer Ryan of Webster Groves, Olivia Young of Oxford, Emma Young of Oxford and Presley Ryan of Jackson, Mississippi..
