She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Bennett and Martha Bennett (Lucille); her grandfather Jesse C. Pickard; and her sons-in-law, Joseph M. Edgell and David M. Holter.

She is survived by: her husband Alan W. Ervin; her daughters, Michelle D. Edgell and Rebecca A. Holter; and her grandchildren, Jacob P. Holter and Hayden R. Edgell.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Bethany Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
