She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Ethel Pearl McDowell Long; her husband Bob; and her siblings, Virgil Long and Verna Downen.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Nix Jr. (Sarah) of Ratliff City, John Nix (Angie) of Oak Ridge, Missouri and Robin Wilson (Robert) of Jackson, Missouri; and her brother Bobby Long of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces.
Memorial contributions may be given to Emerald Street Church of God in Cape Girardeau.
