He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Brown and Evelyn Green Joiner; his wife Molly Buchanan; and his siblings, Louie, Roy, Carolyn and Brenda.

He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Young (Jason) of Jackson, Jason Joiner (Lisa) of Holton, KS, Len Joiner, Jr. and Larry Joiner of Florida; his grandchildren, Dylan (Austin Young), Jesse, Jenna, Jackson Joiner and Jessie Lynn Joiner; and his sisters, Joanne of Florida and Connie of Florida.
