He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his daughter Kristine Springer; his son-in-law Andy Schmidt of Granger, Indiana; his grandson Ben Schmidt of Granger; and his sister Janis Ishmael (Kenneth) of Canton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
