He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion R. Young and June A. Fleishner Young. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Young of Jackson; his children, Jeff Young (Jennifer) of Plain City, Ohio, Raina Manniaty (Soteros) of Blanchester, Ohio and Jaime Young (Joshua Freeman) of Sikeston; his grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah, Grace, Annie and Kyra; his sisters, Sally Secrist (Tom) of Pennsylvania and Sandy Bell of Pennsylvania; his mother-in-law Betty Fluegge (late Charles) of Cape Girardeau; and also, Karen Horrell (Jim) of Jackson and Chuck Fluegge (April Hanback) of Marble Hill, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Cape Girardeau County History Center or St. Paul Radio Broadcast.
