She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Birk and Martha Best Birk; and her brothers, Loyd Birk (Vera) and Orville Birk (Mary). She is survived by: her husband Charles Ahrens of Jackson; her children, Catherine Golden (Stephen) of Burfordville, Barbara Gholson (Gary) of Jackson and Larry Ahrens (Susan) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Matthew Golden, Gregory, David, Sara Gholson, Landon, Anna, Asher and Kasen Ahrens; her brothers, Glen Birk (Alice) of Jackson and Donald Birk (Linda) of Eldorado Springs, Missouri; and her sisters-in-law, Melba Brase (late Norman) of Cape Girardeau and Nora Ahrens (late Orville) of Jackson.
