He was predeceased by: his former wife Virginia Johnson; his parents, William Gray and Rebecca Gray; his siblings, Don, Gloria and Norman; and his granddaughter Molly Quinn.

He is survived by: his children, Frank, Diane Quinn (late Tom), Pam Brandsted (Mark), William Gray Jr. (Debbie), Thomas Gray (Toni), Barbara Brown (Bill) and James Gray (Peggy). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
