He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart McCurry and Martha Einspahr McCurry; his wife Agnes Wagner McCurry; his son-in-law Kerby Dowhower; his grandson Jacob Dowhower; and his sisters, Goldie Smith, Thelma Yost and Connie Borell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Friend and Trudy Dowhower; and his grandchildren, Shana Kelly (Jared), Tyler Kreutner (Emily), Keri Aine (Tom), Casey Horne (Desirae) and Carissa Horne (Kohl). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
