She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lutjen and Vida Lutjen (Burns); her husband George Cooper; her brothers, Donald Lutjen and Terry Lutjen; and her nephew David Lutjen.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Donny Lutjen, Shannon Lutjen, Troy Lutjen, Annissa Sibert and Jennifer Cornwell.
