It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Mertell of Independence, Missouri, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Potts and Tina Potts; and her husband David.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Children's Mercy Hospital.
