Linn Van Winkle Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2022, at the age of 80, Linn Van Winkle of Independence, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Winkle and Dorothy Kirby Van Winkle; and his brother Bruce Van Winkle. He is survived by: his family Slater; his wife Jeannie Taylor; his sons, Brad Van Winkle (Chantay) of Independence and Justin Van Winkle (Amanda) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Averi Van Winkle, Carter Van Winkle, Finnton Van Winkle and Greta Van Winkle; and his sisters, Barbara Snow of Eugene, Jennie Swarthout of St. Charles, Missouri and Bettye Sakaguchi of St. Charles, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Department of Conservation in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
