With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Patrick Flanagan Jr. of Independence, Missouri, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on November 16, 2022 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Patrick Flanagan Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Flanagan, Sr. of Boston, Massachusetts and Vada Irene Flanagan (Peavler) of Topeka; and his son Damon John Flanagan. He is survived by: his son Brian Flanagan of Kansas City, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Wendy Flanagan (Larson) of Kansas City; his grandsons, Tegan Booz of Santa Monica, California and Connor Flanagan of Kansas City; his brother Dennis Flanagan of Overland Park, Kansas; his nephews, Michael Flanagan and Timothy Flanagan; and his aunt Peavler. He is also survived by many cousins, uncles.
