Beverly Shaw wrote a sympathy message

“The Civil War Round Table of Western Missouri extends its condolences to the family. We are the caretakers of the Lewis-Gregg Cemetery in Eastern Jackson County near the St. Joseph the Worker church on Blue Mills Road. Delbert Lewis was a descendant of Nathaniel Lewis, the Revolutionary War soldier who is buried there. Unfortunately there is no direct road to this pioneer cemetery of Jackson County, but we continue to have it mowed during the summer as Goldie and Delbert did for many years.”
