He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Maples and Lola Maples (Ross); his wife Elizabeth Ruth Mustain; and his sister Melva Rapp. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Maples (Heather) of Lowry City, MO and Bruce Maples (Brenda) of Buckner, MO; his grandchildren, Cody, Chyann, Kendall, Keegan and Spencer; and his great grandchild Kylan.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Sycamore Hills Baptist Church.
