He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil James and Eunice James. He is survived by: his brother Jarrel (MaryAnn); his son David James; his grandson Guthrie Jones; his son Wesley James (Megan); his grandchildren, Arlene James, Paige James and Clayton James; his daughter Emily Corbett; his grandchildren, Eric Predmore, Jr., James Predmore, Zury Rollison and Skylar Shamow; his great grandchild Riley Gauges; and also Keri Carroll.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association (http://www.apdaparkinson.org). Leon passed quietly in his sleep after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease at The Groves Nursing Home in Independence, Missouri.
