We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2022, at the age of 88, David Lynn Thatcher (Independence, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Beth Bryant Thatcher; his parents, Thomas Sr. Thatcher and Madge Thatcher; and his siblings, Thomas Thatcher, Jr., Doris Lee Beckwith, Ellis Thatcher and Mary Beckwith.

He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Beth Bryant; his wife Linda Charlene Waugh Thatcher; his children, Susan Belinda Murray (Charles), Phillip Lynn Thatcher (Barbara) and Mark Allen Thatcher (Gwendolyn); and his grandchildren, Eric Murray, Roshelle Carpenter, Jared Thatcher, Justin Thatcher, Bethany Allgeyer and Jorden Thatcher. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any fund at The Community of Christ World Church.
