He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles J. Rukgaber of Mount Pleasant, Iowa. and Wilma Maxine Rukgaber (Ogg) of Mount Pleasant, Iowa.; his wife Linda June Rukgaber (Rule); and his sister Linda Rukgaber McWilliams (Lee McWilliams) of Mount Pleasant. He is survived by: his daughter Nina Mewes (Steven Noe); his grandchildren, Jessica Noe (Brandon Kalwei), Joshua Noe (Jenna Noe) of Columbia and Katelyn DeLong; his sisters, Sharon Rukgaber Messer (Robert Messer) of Mount Pleasant and Diana Rukgaber Rodgers (Ernest Rodgers) of Truth; his brother-in-law James Lee Rule (Phyllis Rule) of Macomb, Illinois.; his nieces and nephews, Mike Messer, Lisa Messer Goody (Jason Goody), Rhonda Kinney Longworth (Paul Longworth), Thomas (TJ), Kinney (Sonja Kinney), Katie Rodgers Walter (Ryan Walter), Kyla Rodgers Stephens (Brian Stephens) and Miles; his grandchildren, Roxanne and Branson; and also, Adalynn June Kalwei and Hudson Lee Kalwei.
