He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Downing and Ruth Downing (Crall); and his siblings, Jimmy, Earl, John, Adrian Downing and Betty Jane Schultz.
He is survived by: his children, Amber Russell-Gentry and Jason Russell (Josie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; two sisters; three brothers; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
