She was predeceased by: her parents, Sullivan Crismon and Dotsie Crismon (Burks); her spouse Merel Dutchman Ash; and her daughter Elizabeth Goewey. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeremiah Goewey of Iberia and Jessica Goewey of Iberia; her son-in-law Timothy Goewey of Iberia; and her siblings, Ruby Ash (Wendell) of Iberia, Ruth Freegard of Iberia, James Crismon of Vienna and Mark Crismon of Oklahoma. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
