He was predeceased by: his father Officer Warren L. Simms; his wife Donna Jean Simms; and his mother Peggy Simms. He is survived by: his son Robert "Bob" Simms Jr of Ferguson, MO; and his granddaughters, Shanna Marie and Margaret Ann.
