He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Theodore and Ada Louise Dykes (Carnes); his wife Evelyn Dykes; his sisters, Mary Brown and Lois Phillips; his children, Navy Captain Randall Dykes (Leslie) and Sandi Jackson (Harold); and his grandchildren, Zach, Lindsey, Hannah, Heath, Chad, Alex and Scott. He was also cherished by 9 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
