He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Vanskike; his children, Benjamin Wayne Helt (Sarah) of Raytown, MO and Sarah Elizabeth McDowell (Sam) of Harrisonville, MO; and his grandchildren, Zane, Brody, Savannah, Ava and Spencer.
