With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia A. Howerton (Harrisonville, Missouri), born in Pierce City, Missouri, who passed away on September 13, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julia A. Howerton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Zebert and Julia Zebert; her husband John W. Howerton; and her sisters, Evelyn Zebert, Eleanor Cendroski and Mary Pearson.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Howerton of Tucson, AZ, Connie Clark (Dave), Cheryl Petersen (Frankie), Deborah Howerton and Mark Howerton (Susan). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID, a private family funeral will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Dickey Funeral Home, 2401 E. Mechanic St., Harrisonville, MO 64701.
Flowers are appreciated, but in lieu of flowers a contribution can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
