It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hammond (Harrisonville, Missouri), who passed away on June 4, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Brookshier and Mary Brookshier (Cunningham); her daughter Cindy Meyer; her cousins, Bob and Clyde Brookshier; her husband Tom Hammond; her children, Doug Hammond and Susan Uchtman; her children-in-law, Sandy Hammond and James Meyer; and her cousins, Betty Owings, Shirley Gross and Laverne Parsons. She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church Youth Program.
