He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Friend and Charity Friend (Kelly); his wife Geneva Mullins; and his sons, Larry Friend, Gary Miller, Rex Miller and Michael Miller.
He is survived by: his son Ronald (Sheri). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
